Located on the Northeast edge of Hell’s Kitchen - The owners of this loft are gourmet cooks, who enjoying hosting dinner parties.   PSA’s main task was to create a functional kitchen, as well as to capture additional space within the apartment by accessing the area under the current staircase.

Design Concept – To merge the industrial loft space with a modern commercial kitchen.  The current material palette includes:  Exposed brick walls, Dark Oak floors, and White painted walls.  The kitchen cabinets were designed to be in juxtaposition of the Exposed Brick and Dark Oak Floors.

The custom cabinets are clean-line, except the breakfast bar, which will be created out of reclaimed lumber.  The backsplash will be a seamless slab of marble, and the countertops will be a white quartz.  Behind the Subzero Refrigerator, a bookshelf will be installed, and the large pull out pantry will act as a custom cart.  The cart can be pulled out of the cabinetry, so the owners can gain addition access under the stairs.
